NBC 'Passes the Torch' to
Play Hard for Development of Casual Online Trivia Game
FOXBORO, Massachusetts - August 5, 2008 - Play Hard
Sports, Inc., a leading publisher and developer of interactive

company has been selected to provide an online trivia game to NBC
during the network's coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The game

twice a week. Why? Because there are a lot more of the casual players
than the hard-core players. Play Hard will focus on online games that
will not require massive, or even moderate amounts of technology, and

Anderson may have picked the perfect time to offer
an online football game. Earlier this month, Electronic Arts Inc.,
the leading maker of sports games, announced it would no longer sell
a version of its hugely popular football game Madden NFL for desktop
computers.

Anderson, the former CEO of online game company Turbine Inc. is
launching a new Internet game company called Play Hard Sports Inc.,
which plans to distribute casual sports games over the Internet.
Anderson said he has attracted $5 million in funding to start the
Foxborough-based company.
