JEFF ANDERSON / Founder / CEO
Jeff Anderson started Play Hard Sports, Inc. in 2008 with the simple idea of bringing fun, fast-action, high-quality sports games to the Internet. Serving as its President and CEO, he brings a strong background in game design, product management, and business development to the company. Prior to starting Play Hard Sports, Jeff was the president and CEO of Turbine, Inc. where he rebuilt that company into a global publisher of MMORPG’s with hits like Dungeons & Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online. Before Turbine, he served as the vice president and executive in charge of production at Origin/ Electronic Arts, where he managed the Ultima Online franchise. Prior to that, Jeff was executive director for the consumer products division of Viacom, Inc., managing Paramount Pictures' world-wide interactive licensing, merchandising and business development. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and received his J.D. from University of Chicago Law School where he served on its Law Review.




AATISH SALVI / Vice President - Network
Aatish joined Play Hard Sports in April, 2008 as its Vice President, overseeing the online gaming network and its games. Aatish is a serial entrepreneur and has been an executive on the ground floor of high-tech startups in the entertainment, automotive and nanotechnology industries. Prior to Play Hard Sports, Aatish was Vice President of the NanoBusiness Alliance where he influenced national policy, built and ran the premier nanotech trade show on Wall Street,  enabled world-class scientists to define and launch businesses and acted as a consultant for venture capital investors interested in the high-tech sector. Prior to the Alliance, Aatish was the Senior Vice President of Production for Driveitaway.com, an online start-up where he developed one of the first web-based tools for automobile sales. He also worked with Jeff and Mike previously at Turbine as both its Director of Core Technology on Asheron’s Call 2 and Director of Production on The Lord of the Rings Online. Aatish graduated with Honors with a degree in Computer Science (and one in Egyptology) from Brown University.




MIKE HOGAN / Vice President - Operations
Mike joined Play Hard Sports in April, 2008 as its Vice President, overseeing the company’s operations and support services. Prior to Play Hard Sports, Mike was the Vice President of Operations at Turbine, Inc.  In that role, Mike built and directly managed the company’s operations, including its billing platform, account management, network operations, quality assurance, and customer service departments. Before Turbine, he was the Director of Production for Hasbro’s online studio and Director of Online Operations at Electronic Arts with Jeff.  In addition, Mike also has nearly 20 years of experience in the wireless industry working with companies such as MCI, GTE MobileNet and Nortel Networks where he was responsible for engineering and implementing cellular telephone systems throughout North and South America.  Mike has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.




SCOTT PHILP / Chief Marketing Officer
Scott joined Play Hard Sports in August 2008 as its Chief Marketing Officer, where he will be overseeing the company's marketing and business development activities, managing brand awareness, as well as expanding Play Hard’s strategic partnerships and distribution channels. Prior to joining the Play Hard team, Scott was the Senior VP of Business Development and Marketing at RotoHog, a leading fantasy sports operator and software developer for major brands and professional sports. At RotoHog, Scott drove the strategic marketing initiatives and distribution partnerships that positioned the company as the internet’s fastest growing fantasy sports website. He was also responsible for driving all customer acquisitions and translating user feedback into product strategy. Before RotoHog, Scott was the VP of Business Development at FUN Technologies, where he secured key strategic and online marketing partnerships for the industry’s largest casual game operator, expanding the company’s online sports and gaming properties. Under Scott’s leadership, the Company grew from 500k registered users to 35m registered users in less than three years via strategic partnerships, acquisitions and an aggressive marketing plan. Scott graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University.
