PLAY HARD SPORTS SIGNS SCOTT PHILP AS CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Company Strengthens Its Roster with Five New Directors
FOXBORO, Massachusetts September 10, 2008 - Play Hard Sports, Inc., ("Play Hard") the first studio in North America to develop, publish and distribute Interactive Fantasy Sports Games (IFG's) and entertainment over the Internet, today announced the company has appointed Scott Philp as its Chief Marketing Officer. Philp's focus will be signing distribution and marketing partners for the company's major sport titles as well as further expanding the Play Hard brand on a global level. In addition to Philp, the company also announced that it hired five veteran directors to drive the design and development of Play Hard's games and websites.
Prior to joining to Play Hard, Philp was the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at RotoHog.com, a leading fantasy sports operator and developer. While at RotoHog.com, Philp drove the strategic marketing initiatives and unique distribution partnerships that positioned the company as one of the Internet's fastest growing fantasy sports websites. He was also responsible for driving all customer acquisitions and translating user feedback into product strategy. Before RotoHog.com, Philp was the Vice President of Business Development at FUN Technologies / Skill Jam, where he secured key strategic and online marketing partnerships, expanding the company's online sports and gaming properties.

Philp's new role is complemented by the addition of five experienced directors at the Company:
• Arron Joseph joins as the Director of Web Design where he is responsible for defining the usability, look and feel of the Play Hard portal and helping create a distinctive online brand for the company. Prior to Play Hard Sports, Arron was the Creative Director for Hobnox, an online entertainment and publishing platform where he led that company's U.S. efforts. Arron also held director positions at Permission TV and Lycos, where he designed and developed a number of Flash oriented applications.
• Brandon Justice joins the team as the Director of Game Design, driving the vision and development of the products and the core game play experience, ensuring entertainment value and quality of the game for users. Brandon has more than 10 years experience in game design, working at Seven Studios, Electronic Arts and Visual Concepts. Brandon was the lead producer on EA's 2006 and 2007 Madden franchise and brings additional game credits with him including; NFL 2K2, NFL 2K3, ESPN NFL 2004 and ESPN NFL Football 2K5. Prior to working as a game developer, Brandon was the editorial director for IGN Dreamcast.
• Geoff Scott joins the Play Hard team as Director of Production where he oversees and manages the games' creative vision, design and development. Prior to Play Hard, Geoff was the Senior Director of Creative Studio at Turbine, leading that company's creative teams (including audio, music, concept, modeling, texturing, animation and integration) for hit online titles such as The Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach and Asheron's Call 2.
• Rich Sadowsky joins the company as Play Hard's Director of Core Technology, where he manages the Company's software development, including all of the client and server-side programming. Rich has 25 years of professional experience, including four issued US patents. He revolutionized the software business with the invention of Symantec's LiveUpdate technology and has been published in leading industry journals such as, Windows Tech Update and PC Techniques.
• Stephen Rozner joins the team as the Director of Game Technology, where he is responsible for the creation and execution of the game design and managing the projects' milestones and delivery. Stephen brings more that 20 years of game development experience to Play Hard, most recently working at Electronic Arts where he was the lead software engineer, developing initial online technology for EA's core NCAA titles. His game credits include: Madden/NCAA 2004 PS2, Madden/NCAA 2005 PS2/Xbox, Madden/NCAA/NASCAR 2006 PS2/Xbox, Madden/NCAA 2007 PS2/Xbox, NASCAR 2008 PS3/Xbox 360 and NASCAR 2009 PS3/Xbox 360.
